Tomorrow's the big day!

Okay, here are a couple day before pictures.... we just got home from church... I was a little tired! :)

And yes, the loverly white outfit, that shows too much of my preggo figure! Scottie was trying a little sneak attack there in the second picture!

One of my friends from church had her baby last Sunday (she was actually due 4 days after me) and had a tiny little 5lb2oz baby girl. We went to visit them tonight so Scottie could see a real baby and hopefully help him tomorrow when his baby comes. Little Annabelle was sooo tiny! Bronson's going to be a monster next to her!


Dave was awesome and let Scottie hold the bottle and help feed Annabelle.

Sibling Class!

This last Wednesday we took Scottie over to the hospital to attend a sibling class. It was pretty fun! We got there and they had a little snack with apple juice and a chocolate chip cookie, plus a coloring book about being a big brother/ sister. You can see that Greg enjoyed the coloring too! There where 5 other moms in the class and their kids- Scottie was the youngest one to attend.

First they got to watch a video about being a big brother and sister and what to expect when mom goes to the hospital, and when a new baby comes home.




After the video the teacher got out some baby dolls, all the kids washed the germs off their hands then learned how to hold a baby.
Scottie was really excited to hold "baby Bronson" and one of the first things he did was kiss the baby on the cheek.

What a happy big brother! They brought out bottles to practice feeding the babies. Scottie was a pro- even with his left hand at flipping the bottle around for the baby.

Next we got to practice changing the babies diaper. Scottie said that he "pooped!" as soon as he took the diaper off and thought it was pretty funny.



He did such a good job rocking the baby in his arms and giving him lots of kisses on the head and cheeks. (And of course he did have to "poke" the eyes, nose and mouth a few times too. For the most part he was very gentle!)

At the end of class they let the kids gear up in doctor's masks and take a tour through labor and delivery. Scottie thought it was awesome! He loved wearing the hat and mask.

Scottie all geared up, handing us his certificate for taking the sibling class.

The kids got to run and check out the waiting area for Labor and Delivery.

They got a chance to check out one of the rooms to see where mommy and new baby will be.

They did have a new baby in the nursery where the kids could see where their little brother was going to be for a little while after delivery. (All the moms in the class were expecting boys!)

Scottie like the mask and hat so much he wore it all the way home. He kept saying "Dr. Scottie!"

2 more weeks to go!

Ok... so two weeks from tomorrow and we'll have a new baby boy!! That is... if I can make it two more weeks! So far, Scottie's been excited and has helped with washing the clothes and putting the little bouncer seat together. Hopefully he stays excited even after we bring Bronson home!
